Everyone will have a choice to vote and the winning option will be the next piece of the story. The following Friday will reveal what happened based on the votes, and then offer the next two choices.

It will be very exciting to see which direction the plot takes and the actions characters make! So without further ado, let’s begin!

Once upon a time there was a great forest called the Wisperwood.

It was blessed with a unique magic that granted the plants, creatures and various species who dwelt under its shady boughs, everlasting life.

However, after thousands of years of peace, a great sorceress used dark magic to curse the forest and took away the magic of everlasting life. The roots turned black and one by one the trees began to wither and die. Their predicament horrified the magical creatures of Wisperwood.

During those dark days, two heroes rose to take up the challenge to defeat the sorceress and return magic to Wisperwood.

Aurane the Forest Elf focuses on the balance between nature and the living. The cycle of life in the forest is important to her, as well as using all of natures resources and wasting nothing. She uses the knowledge of the forest to assist her quest and her friendship with the creatures of the wood creates alliances wherever she goes.

Torkale the Hunter is from the northern end of Wisperwood on the opposite side of the forest elves. His people can shift into fearsome minotaurs at will and focus on hunting and building up their clan. They care nothing for the forest elves, and the forest elves care nothing for them. He uses his strength and prowess to get what he needs and he is overly protective of those he cares for.

Choose which character will be the hero of Wisperwood:

A. Aurane the Forest Elf
B. Torkale the Hunter

Aurane, though it would be fun for her to have an overlarge sidekick who imagines he’s the hero.

(By the way, you might want to tweak your post so that “During those dark days” comes after “However, after thousands of years”.)

Thank you for doing this. Looks like fun! 🙂
